About the Role

Are you an experienced Fire & Security professional ready to take the next step in your career?

Xenon is expanding and is seeking to appoint an experienced Fire & Safety Technician to join their growing team in Ireland.

The successful candidate will have 8+ years of industry experience and a proven track record working on commercial fire and security installations across hospitals, schools, hotels, commercial buildings, and other large facilities.

Key Responsibilities

•        Plan and manage work independently while ensuring a full understanding of project and client requirements.

•        Install, commission, fault-find, maintain, repair, and upgrade electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.

•        Install, maintain, and service life safety systems, including fire alarms and emergency lighting.

•        Lead troubleshooting on complex system faults and provide technical guidance to junior team members where required.

•        Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.

•        Conduct system demonstrations for clients and provide technical support where required.

Minimum Requirements

•        8+ years' experience in the Fire & Security industry.

•        Hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, fire alarms, and emergency lighting.

•        Electronic Security Systems Qualification, Electrical Craft Certificate, or Trade Tested Electrician (QQI Level 6 or equivalent preferred).

•        Safe Pass (preferred but not essential – training can be provided).

•        Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

•        Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

•        Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
