Overview

A leading automotive dealership is seeking an experienced Warranty Parts & Finance Controller to manage warranty administration, parts-related warranty processes, and financial reconciliations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate claim submissions, maintain compliance with manufacturer requirements, and support the dealership's financial and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer policies and procedures.

  • Verify warranty claims, supporting documentation, and repair orders for accuracy.

  • Liaise with manufacturers regarding claim submissions, approvals, and queries.

  • Monitor warranty claim recoveries and ensure timely reimbursement.

  • Reconcile warranty, parts, and finance-related accounts.

  • Investigate and resolve claim discrepancies and rejected claims.

  • Maintain accurate records and prepare warranty and financial reports.

  • Collaborate with the Parts, Service, and Finance departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Ensure compliance with dealership and OEM warranty standards.

  • Assist with warranty audits and internal control processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous automotive dealership experience is essential.

  • National Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Warranty Administration Certificate (essential).

  • Strong understanding of warranty processes, parts administration, and financial reconciliations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Experience working with dealership management systems.

  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
