Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care to a selective patient panel in a concierge model: preventative care, acute care, chronic disease management, wellness and lifestyle medicine.

• Maintain high-quality doctor-patient relationships: extended visit times, same-/next-day scheduling, direct access (phone, email) as appropriate. PartnerMD+2Penn Medicine Careers+2

• Coordinate care across specialists, hospitals, diagnostics, and ancillary services — serve as the “quarterback” for patients. Massachusetts General Hospital

• Work with a dedicated team (e.g., medical assistant, RN, health coach, administrative coordinator) to deliver concierge-level service. University Hospital+1

• Use EMR and telehealth platforms effectively; manage patient communications and documentation.

• Participate in practice growth efforts (member acquisition, retention, marketing support) and help shape the clinical model and service offerings.

• Maintain compliance with licensure, Board certification, credentialing, and quality/safety standards.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

• Board-certified (or board-eligible) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Penn Medicine Careers+1

• Valid medical license in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).

• Preferably 5-10+ years of clinical experience in primary care; concierge/retainer practice experience is a plus. Penn Medicine Careers

• Strong clinical acumen with interest in preventive medicine, wellness, lifestyle health, and patient-centred care.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; self-motivated, business-minded, comfortable working in a model with high service expectations.

• Comfortable with smaller patient panels and higher accessibility. Eg., many concierge models cap panel sizes significantly lower than traditional practices. PartnerMD+1
