community through authentic conversations, events, and content. With millions of students

find their people before stepping foot on campus. We’re looking for a Marketing Intern who is

excited about Gen Z, social media, and higher ed, and wants hands-on experience supporting

campaigns that reach students and college partners.

The Role

The Marketing Intern will support both our Marketing team. This role is ideal for a student or

early-career marketer who wants real experience executing campaigns, creating content, and

helping drive awareness and adoption of the ZeeMee app. You’ll assist with social media,

content creation, campaign execution, and reporting — with plenty of opportunities to learn how

a fast-paced, data-driven marketing team operates.

Key Responsibilities

● Assist the Marketing Associate and Growth Marketing Manager with day-to-day

execution of student-facing and partner-facing campaigns.

● Support the organization and maintenance of marketing calendars, campaign trackers,

and asset folders.

● Draft and schedule social content for ZeeMee’s student-facing channels (TikTok,

Instagram, ect.) under guidance from the team.

● Assist with content ideation: trend research, sound ideas, formats, and hooks that

resonate with Gen Z/Gen Alpha.

● Help manage comments, DMs, and basic community engagement on social channels.

● Repurpose content across platforms (e.g., trimming clips, writing captions, resizing

graphics with templates).

● Support the creation and updating of “adoption packs” and promo materials for colleges

(flyers, signage, simple slide decks, QR codes, one-pagers).

● Support basic SEO tasks such as updating page titles, meta descriptions, or keyword

lists (with direction from the team).

● Pull and organize performance data (social stats, email metrics, campaign results) into

simple reports or dashboards for the team.

Looking for Somoeone...

● Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s program in Marketing,

Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

● Strong interest in social media, Gen Z digital behavior, and/or higher education.

● Comfortable using TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms; bonus if you’ve created

content yourself.

● Strong writing skills and attention to detail (spelling, grammar, and tone).

● Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple small tasks at once.

● Comfortable working in a fully remote environment and communicating via Slack, Zoom,

and email.

● Familiarity with tools like Canva, Google Workspace, and basic analytics (e.g., social or

email stats) is a plus, but not required — we’ll teach you.
