Position Summary
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized plans of care,
providing hands-on and therapeutic interventions, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients
throughout their rehabilitation journey.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, excellent communication, professionalism, and
a genuine commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's diagnosis, functional limitations,
and goals.
• Provide appropriate therapeutic exercises, functional activities, manual therapy, and other
evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding their condition, treatment plan, home exercise
programs, recovery, and injury prevention.
• Establish positive relationships with patients and provide compassionate, professional care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, referring providers, and other healthcare professionals
regarding patient progress and care.
• Promote patient compliance with treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Maintain a professional and positive environment for patients and coworkers.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain and enhance
clinical skills.
• Follow all applicable professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
• Degree in Physical Therapy, with Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program preferred
• Current, active Florida Physical Therapist license.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation.
