We are seeking an experienced, motivated Allergy Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing allergy team. This role is ideal for a clinician with a passion for allergy, asthma, immunology, and complex outpatient care, and who values building long-term patient relationships.
The Allergy NP/PA will work alongside board-certified allergists and multidisciplinary care teams to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with allergic and immunologic conditions.
Conduct patient evaluations, detailed medical histories, and physical exams
Diagnose and treat common and complex allergic conditions, including:
Allergic rhinitis
Asthma
Food allergies
Eczema (atopic dermatitis)
Drug allergies
Urticaria / hives
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including skin testing, pulmonary function testing, and IgE panels
Develop personalized treatment plans, including immunotherapy protocols
Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal guidelines
Provide patient education on disease management, trigger avoidance, and action plans
Collaborate with allergists and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
Document all patient encounters and plans in the EMR
Support quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement programs
✅ Active NP or PA license in the state of practice
✅ Certification as a Family NP, Adult NP, Pediatric NP, or PA-C
✅ Experience in allergy/immunology strongly preferred (or related fields: pulmonology, ENT, dermatology with allergy exposure)
✅ Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
✅ Excellent communication and patient education abilities
✅ Comfortable working independently with collaborative physician oversight
✅ Familiarity with EMR systems
