

Our Client is looking for skilled Conventional Machinists to join their precision manufacturing team. This role is ideal for veteran machinists who take pride in manual craftsmanship and possess the technical expertise to operate heavy-duty machinery with tight-tolerance accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
Manual Machine Operation: Set up and operate a variety of conventional machines, including Engine Lathes, Turret Lathes, Bridgeports, VTLs (Vertical Turret Lathes), and VBMs (Vertical Boring Mills).
Precision Machining: Execute complex cuts and finishes based on technical drawings and blueprints, maintaining strict adherence to work instructions.
Quality Control: Perform self-inspections using close-tolerance tools (micrometers, gauges, etc.) to ensure every part meets internal and client specifications.
Shop Safety: Maintain a clean and safe workspace while adhering to all industrial safety protocols and lift-assessment standards.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years as a Conventional Machinist in a precision shop environment.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated knowledge of manual lathe and mill operation.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
Screening: Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, lift-assessment, and drug screening.

1st Shift: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
