With continued growth and expansion, we’re now looking to welcome a Maintenance Manager, based in our Carlow office, to take overall responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of our maintenance division.
Purpose of the Role:
The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers delivering preventative and reactive maintenance services across fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, gate automation and electrical compliance services nationwide.
The role will be responsible for ensuring systems are maintained within required service periods, contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLAs) and applicable industry standards, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and supporting the continued growth of the maintenance and monitoring business.
Key Responsibilities:
Take overall responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of the maintenance division.
Lead, mentor and develop a team of service engineers and support staff.
Ensure all contracted systems are maintained within required service intervals, SLAs and relevant
industry standards.
Plan engineer resources and workloads to deliver preventative and reactive maintenance services
nationwide.
Monitor engineer utilisation, productivity, response times and service performance.
Conduct site surveys and prepare maintenance quotations, contract renewals and service proposals.
Manage customer relationships and act as the primary escalation point for service-related issues.
Support the growth of recurring maintenance and monitoring revenue through contract renewals, service
upgrades and additional opportunities.
Monitor departmental KPIs, forecasting, resource planning and contract performance.
Assist with maintenance tenders, service proposals and business development activities.
Oversee subcontractor performance, compliance and service delivery.
Drive continuous improvement across service delivery, quality, health & safety and customer
satisfaction.
What we are looking for:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Maintenance Manager, Service Manager or similar leadership role.
Strong technical understanding of security, CCTV, access control, fire alarm and life safety systems.
Proven experience managing service engineers, maintenance contracts and service level agreements.
Strong commercial awareness and customer relationship management skills.
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Full clean driving licence.
Experience using Simpro, Joblogic or similar service management software would be advantageous.
Knowledge of relevant Irish security, fire alarm, emergency lighting and health & safety standards,
regulations and industry best practices.
