Master Scheduler | Production Planning & Supply Chain | Guntersville, AL

DirectPath Recruiting Services is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in Guntersville, Alabama to hire an experienced Master Scheduler. This is a high-impact opportunity for a planning professional who excels at balancing production schedules, material availability, capacity planning, and customer demand in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

As the Master Scheduler, you'll be responsible for developing and managing the Master Production Schedule while partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, and Program Management to ensure production objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize the Master Production Schedule (MPS)

• Balance production demand with labor, equipment, and material capacity

• Analyze production constraints and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts

• Coordinate production priorities with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and Supply Chain

• Support Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and long-range production planning

• Plan manufacturing activities within complex, multi-level Bill of Materials (BOM) environments

• Coordinate planning for long-lead materials to maintain production readiness

• Utilize Microsoft Project to support production schedules and program timelines

• Monitor schedule performance and drive continuous process improvements

• Generate production forecasts, reports, and planning metrics for leadership

What We're Looking For

• 3-7 years of experience in Master Scheduling, Production Planning, Supply Chain Planning, or Manufacturing Planning

• Strong experience with MRP and ERP systems

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project

• Experience supporting complex manufacturing environments with multi-level BOMs

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments

• Aviation or Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly preferred

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is preferred
