Hybrid - 2 days p/week in office

We’re looking for a Cloud Platform Lead to own and evolve the cloud infrastructure behind a multi-cloud SaaS platform across AWS and Azure.

You’ll lead a small team while staying close to the technology, improving reliability, availability, security, scalability and cloud cost efficiency.

The role

• Leading and supporting a small cloud/platform engineering team

• Owning the reliability, availability and performance of cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure

• Improving infrastructure automation through infrastructure-as-code and modern cloud engineering practices

• Strengthening monitoring, observability, alerting and incident response

• Supporting engineering teams with deployment pipelines, release management and cloud architecture best practice

• Driving cloud cost optimisation, governance and operational efficiency

You’ll work closely with engineering and senior stakeholders to make sure the platform can scale safely, reliably and efficiently.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering or DevOps

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure in production environments

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, automation and observability

• Good understanding of cloud security, operational resilience and compliance-driven environments

• Experience leading technical delivery, mentoring engineers or supporting a small technical team

Experience with SaaS platforms, enterprise software, Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, Datadog, Grafana or Prometheus would be useful.
