We are hiring a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Engineer / SRE (remote, Hungary) for a fast-growing AI infrastructure company building Self-hostable Inference Engine - a production-grade platform for running pre-trained AI models (embedding, OCR, reranking, extractors) efficiently on customer-owned GPU infrastructure.

The goal: make AI inference dramatically cheaper and more controllable than managed APIs. 

The role

You will help build the self-hostable inference engine and own how it gets deployed and operated. That covers the customer-facing infra that ships with the product (Terraform modules, Helm charts) and the internal platform behind it. Senior IC role with end-to-end ownership.

Your profile: 

• You’ve already built and operated large-scale production systems. 

• Solid systems programming background (Python, Rust, or Go)

• Infra-heavy systems

• Deep Kubernetes expertise

• Working confidently with AI agents in your engineering workflow

• Startup mindset: speed, ownership, and clarity under ambiguity

• Experience with GPU infrastructure, multi-cloud environments, and contributions to open-source projects is a strong advantage.
